Free Dot Net Controls from DevExpress
I just read this over at DeveloperBuzz (thanks Brian!).
DevExpress has a list bunch of controls they are giving away for free (web registration required).
What is in the list?
Quite a bit actually. WinForms Controls and ASP.NET Controls are included. Here is a small list of what is being offered.
- ASPxNavBar
- ASPxNewsControl
- ASPxObjectContainer
- ASPxPopupMenu
- ASPxRoundPanel
- ASPxSiteMapControl
- ASPxSiteMapDataSource
- ASPxTabControl
- XtraTabControl
- ListBoxControl
- CheckedListBoxControl
- ImageListBoxControl
- MarqueeProgressBar
- XtraScrollableControl
What's the catch?
I think the DevExpress guys have a ton of components. They appear to be quite profitable and using this as a way to introduce people to their tools.
How to get the free controls?

It is very nice to see Devexpress offering these high quality controls for free.
We have their DXperience Winforms subscription and I can say that their tools are very high quality and their support is great.

Just as M. Bourkelis,
we've been using their controls (with subscription) for two years and all I can say is that they offer high quality and very customizable components, with good customer support and a huge knowledge base.
I keep discovering new features every day so to speak.
