Graffiti CMS 1.0 Released - View it now
Graffiti 1.0 Released today. Yes, you are viewing it on our blog now.
How hard is Graffiti CMS to setup?
Very, very easy. If you want to run it locally to test they include an EXE that launches the ASP.NET local webserver. No need to mess around with IIS or config it on your local box.
How hard is Graffiti CMS to deploy?
Probably the hardest thing was getting the permissions rights on the directory. Graffiti has to have write permissions on the blog directory because it creates real directories and files for the posts.
How much does Graffiti cost?
Compare the Graffiti Editions.
- Express edition is free.
- $399 for the Single Site editions with 10 content publishing users
- $799 for Single Site with 25 content publishing users
- Server licenses are available for users who want to host blogs or other web content.
Congrats to the team and Telligent
They have a fantastic feature set and product for a 1.0 release. It is amazing how quickly they turned this from concept into reality (I hope VistaDB had a little to do with it).

Woot! First post. No more blogs without comments? Nice. Site looks good too. Is this a template?

Hi Jason,
Your new blog looks great! And I also think it's much faster than the previous one.
Looking forward to the new releases of VistaDB for this year.

It is very snappy - I think the Graffiti / VistaDB combo is going to be a huge winner. It is a very well built app and knows how to take advantage of caching very well.
And yes, it is a template. I made a few changes to the CSS, but that is it.
