VistaDB Software, Inc. was founded in March 2007 as part of the acquisition of the VistaDB assets from Vista Software. VistaDB Software, Inc. is dedicated to the advancement of the VistaDB database engine into the fully managed marketplace for developers.

Emerald Technology, Inc. is the parent company of VistaDB Software, Inc. and has been providing high quality solutions since 1997.

Our team of senior software engineers have extensive experience designing and developing commercial database engines and this experience is reflected deeply in our products. Our database software is used by thousands of developers worldwide and our technology has been licensed by such prominent companies as Computer Associates.

Our flagship VistaDB product has been under development since 2001 and is the result of years of research, with countless hours of hard work. VistaDB represents the next generation of database technology for Mirosoft .NET, Mono and the Compact Framework.

Mission

Our mission is to build the world's best embedded database engine solution for software developers building applications that target the Microsoft .NET Framework, Compact Framework. and Mono development platforms.

We continue to work with Microsoft on the future of database standards and to maintain the highest level of functionality with Microsoft development environments possible. We are releasing VS 2008 Server Explorer itegration beta, and a LINQ Entity Framework driver as a part of our committment to our customers to give them the power to choose how and when to deploy their databases.
