Good news! VistaDB 2.0 (Beta 3) on track for release

We have good news! Cesar finally tracked down this pesky bug, which has been holding up the Beta 3 build, to a new section of code in the SQL engine for supporting transaction processing and to a section for re-using an internal connection object. In the end, the Beta 3 code has been fixed and has passed our initial internal SpeedTest (75+ SQL statements)!

We will do more testing on Sunday and Monday, with plans to post the official Beta 3 build by Tuesday. For now, here is an preview build of VistaDB 2.0 (Beta 3) with the core files only. See the support forum for instructions on how to download it.

Please note that switching between builds is very easy, so please do not get intimidated to download and try this new build. Installing this build is simply a matter of running a BAT file that installs the components into your GAC and copies one file to your \system32 directory. It is very simple to switch back if needed.
