Jason Short, Ph.D., President
Jason has been involved with commercial
software products since selling shareware during the 1980's. He has over 15 years of programming experience, including over 7 years of C# programming. Jason has built large scale systems for Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, AT&T, and Emerald Technology, Inc. Jason has been a long-time user of VistaDB since the early beta for version 2.0 and acquired the company in early 2007.

Mike Orlov, Lead Senior Software Engineer
Mike Orlov is in charge of the VistaDB core database
technology. Mike has been working with Vista Software since 1999 and has been
responsible for numerous technological advances. Mike graduated from Kharkov
State University with a doctorate from the Theoretical Radiophysics Department
and graduated from his understudies with top honors. While studying, he was
nominated top student by the Honorary Scholarship committee. He has published
several scientific papers and has a patent. |

Evgeniy Batov, Software Engineer
A recent graduate of National Aerospace University, Evgeniy Batov is the most recent addition to the VistaDB team. He has already made solid contributions to VistaDB by assuming responsibility for building the VistaDB data management tools and for extending VistaDB onto the Compact Framework and Windows Mobile. |

Michael McDonald , Software Engineer
Michael has worked with Jason at Emerald for the past four years first in testing and tech support, and then later as a programmer on the Spam and Web filter engines. He wrote the Data Access Layer for the Emerald Spam Shield (which uses VistaDB), and the secure management portal for customers. He is currently working part time on VistaDB writing NUnit tests and writing conformance tests for MS SQL compared to VistaDB. |
